I am trying to enjoy my Spring Break even with my limitations. Somehow I have more energy and ability in my mind than I do in my body. For instance, we moved a chair and ottoman to the living room because the other furniture was not comfortable or easy for me to get up from. I am trying to get things put back and I can't maneuver it. I can in my mind, but my body isn't able yet. It all boils down to the patience thing, because I want it done now. Does it matter that stuff is not where I want it? I guess not.
Jane called yesterday and we went out to lunch. Thank you, Jane. It as nice to talk to someone other than the big red dog, Rusty. Melissa, from school called, and we will have lunch later this week. I will have Ken take me to school and I will work until she picks me up for lunch.
Still no word on how long it will take to get the herceptin authorized. I was hoping to have it taken care of by now. I will start the 5 year pill as soon as I can get the prescription filled.
I made some headway on the quilt I am making to donate for a fund raiser. I think the sewing is good therapy for driving! Think about it sometimes you have to be pretty quick on the pedal. I hope to finish that up today. I would like to take it to the meeting on Thursday. Then I have several other projects to start. I love to sew! I think hobbies are very important. They occupy your time, mind, hands, and keep you off the streets and out of the bars!
