Blisters!

What a wonderful Valentine's Day! My day started with a dozen red roses and the loveliest card. Ken wrote the most romantic message in it. Ahh! Ohh! I felt like I did when we were dating. I came home to spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and an angel food cake in the oven. All this was served on the china and linen napkins. Wow! So, we ate and Ken opened his gift. I shopped over the weekend and was thinking practicality not romance. Rats. Then I went to bunco with the girls. When I got back home Ken had chocolate dipped strawberries and chocolate peanut butter fudge waiting for me. The man has a way about him that I just can't resist. Woo! A Happy Valentine's Day to all! Love is wonderful!
I am gaining blisters on my neck now. Owie! I am really burned and blistered. The best news of all is I have four radiation treatments left. The concentration now is where the lumpectomy scar is. I will be done Monday with radiation. One step closer to being through with this journey.
Tomorrow is a busy day. Ken and I will go do labs first thing in the morning. We need to get to the pre-op appointment for the hip surgery by 9:30. Then Ken and I have our yearly good health check up and next is radiation. I will be tired of poking, testing, and getting radiated by the time I get home.
